- Online Application Start Date: March 10, 2026
- Last Date to Apply Online: March 30, 2026
- Written Exam Date: July – August 2026 (Expected)
- Admit Card Release: 10 days before the exam.
Vacancy Details (Cadre-Wise)
A total of 3,298 vacancies have been announced for the year 2026:
- District Police Cadre: 1,800 Posts
- Armed Police Cadre: 1,498 Posts
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- Mandatory Requirement: It is compulsory to have passed Punjabi as a subject in Matriculation (Class 10).
- Age Limit (as on Jan 1, 2026):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 28 Years
- (Age relaxation applies for SC/ST/BC and Ex-Servicemen as per government rules).
